Ready… Set… CRAWL! On August 12 & 13, discover New West’s CREATIVE talent at the one and only New West Cultural Crawl

Presented by Arts Council of New Westminster and The Van Dop Gallery, crawl through 36 Art Venues across New Westminster that’ll be showcasing brilliant art exhibitions! From gorgeous ceramics and jewelry to photography and paintings, this FREE cultural festival is a treat for all!  

Amongst the 5 beautiful New West districts celebrating arts and culture, the Original Downtown, a dynamic cultural hub and sponsor, is one stop ya cannot miss!

VENUE #18  

Anvil Centre Community Art Space – 3rd Floor 777 Columbia Street | 10am-5pm

Located in the gorgeous Anvil Centre, the Community Art Space will be showcasing an array of local emerging and established artists in the brand-new “ArchiTEXTURE” exhibition!

Paralleling our world that’s ever-changing by technology, the New Media Gallery showcases art that lights up, responds, communicates, and reflects our contemporary world! Drop by and experience NMG’s current provocative exhibition called Dominion!

Enjoy mesmerizing visual art from New West Artists, a unique inclusive society comprised of artists of all skill levels who work in a variety of mediums. Prepare to be in awe of the amazing talents!

New Westminster Museum & Archives - 3rd Floor 777 Columbia Street | 10am-5pm

Take a journey through New Westminster’s rich history! Plus, check out their NEW feature exhibition Planning New West – an interactive exploration of why the city is shaped the way it is for the past 158 years!

Step aboard an authentic 1937 steam-powered Sternwheeler! With 3 levels to explore and lots of intriguing displays, you’ll feel like a sailor travellin’ down the mighty Fraser River!

From mixed media sculptures to two-dimensional paintings, you won’t wanna miss Debra McKenzie’s powerful art exhibit!
