Live Music at #ColumbiaStrEAT 2017
In case you forgot how big the Columbia StrEAT Food Truck Festival really is, we’ll be having 4 different simultaneous live music performances! We made sure there’s something for everyone, so check out our whole line-up below and plan ahead - you wouldn’t want to miss out on your favorite tunes!
Columbia and Blackwood:
4pm: Harry Bartlet & Evan Gratham will be playing a fusion of soulful jazz bass music for your listening pleasure.
5:30pm: A songwriter and musican all the way from Scotland... Dougie Grieg, featuring some stellar acoustic guitar!
7pm: Catch some vibes from local artist Malaya Cooks!
8:30pm: Mr. Rust will be closing things off with his free tape beats which hold a deep tie to New West, including Front Street in particular.
250 Columbia Street:
Royal City Swing will keep you dancing all night! Take note - this is definitely the go-to place to burn off your food coma after a couple truck stops.
Columbia and McKenzie:
4-10pm: With always something exciting going down, UCASS stage will be featuring various live acts and a DJ for the whole event. Check out their FB page to discover what they have in store, including DJ Hixz, Leah Barley Music, and Buffalo Jones!
Columbia and Begbie:
4pm: Anna Boots, a talented piano teacher, takes the stage together with Laura Luongo!
5:30pm: For all you bass enthusiasts, come check out Colin’s set!
7pm: Sweetz, a Neo-Soul R&B group, will be performing to get the crowd moving and grooving.
8:30pm: Vancouver’s hip young girl band, Club Sofa, will be closing the night!
