Downtown New Westminster Neighbourhood Party

Our goal for this event is to bring together local residents to enjoy and meet each other in a relaxed and fun setting to encourage a positive and healthy community spirit. We will have activities for children and families to participate in, from arts crafts, to games (jumbo twister, Tug-Of-War) and challenges. We will host a large BBQ cookout for attendees to enjoy. The entire event will be free of charge and inclusive of all ages, genders, abilities, and cultures across all socio-economic levels. We will host musical performances by local musicians and maybe even a yoga class! We are seeking to partner with local organizations and small businesses to contribute activities during the event, as well as material items (such as food, tents, tables, and supplies). We hope to offer activities that engage the community and foster connection through inter-generational learning, cross cultural understanding, and celebration of diversity.
