Join us for an evening of celebration in honour of Pacific Salmon Foundation President/CEO Dr. Brian Riddell’s induction into the Fraser River Discovery Centre’s Fraser River Hall of Fame. Reception: 6:30pm Stand-up Dining: 7:30pm Live Auction Dr. Riddell has led the Pacific Salmon Foundation since 2009. The Foundation is an independent, non-governmental organization dedicated to creating a sustainable future for wild Pacific salmon and their habitat. In this role, he has successfully raised millions of dollars in funding to support community-based salmon conservation projects and directed the Foundation as it evolved into a leading science-based organization also. Prior to joining the Pacific Salmon Foundation, Dr. Riddell worked for 30 years in various scientific research and management positions with the Government of Canada’s Department of Fisheries and Oceans. Dr. Riddell was a scientific lead in the creation of Canada’s Policy for Conservation of Wild Pacific Salmon.
