New Westminster Community Dialogue: Overdose Crisis

Over the past few years, the overdose crisis has bought to light social issues within our communities that have been hidden. As we begin the journey towards understanding some of the root causes, we invite you to engage in conversations within our community to address some pressing questions such as: 1. Why are we losing men to overdose? 2. How can we reduce stigma in our community? 3. How do I support my friend/family member? Mayor Cote and Dr. Aamir Bharmal will be presenting at the event followed by a dialogue session. Please join us in creating a safe space for honest conversation. Our event is free and we will provide light refreshments.
