SPRING BREAK at FRDC March 20-24: Children ages 2-12 + parents are taken on a journey into the past mimicking Simon Fraser’s journey of the Fraser River. Inspired by Simon Fraser’s journey down the Fraser River, our Spring Break 2018 event takes children ages 2-12 and parents on a journey into the past. Mimicking Simon Fraser’s journey, each day of the week will be themed a different place he visited along the Fraser River. During the week and on Saturday, kids will be given a passport to document their journey. This “Passport to the Past’ will be a booklet listing daily activities, games, films and exhibits to check out for the day. DAY THEMES When: Day 1: March 20th – Prince George Day 2: March 21st – Quesnel Day 3: March 22nd – Williams Lake Day 4: March 23rd – Lower Mainland Time: 10:00am to 4:00pm Cost: General Admission to the Centre All this leads up to the big event – Saturday, March 24th will be a combination of all the prior day themes and include a look at New Westminster today! EVENT DAY When: March 24th – “Past to Present” Time: 10:00am to 4:00pm Cost: $6.00 per person $18.00 family pass (2 adults & 2 children) Children under 2 years of age are free Pre-registration is not required for Spring Break 2018’s Journey Through the Fraser, so kids and parents can simply drop in between 10:00 am and 4:00 pm.
