What to Expect This Week #QuestNewWest
With weekly challenges, weekly prizes, and a $1000 grand prize, Fridays #QuestNewWest is the experience of the summer. There is simply no better way to spend time exploring Downtown New West. If you get hungry, never fear, we’ve got you covered, here are our top take-out options for this week’s quest on August 14th.

Your quest to find the holy grill can end at Re-up BBQ. Re-up makes next-level meals no matter the time of day. The marriage between their juicy, smokey, fresh meat with a firm on the outside soft on the inside bun is a match made in heaven, only to be improved upon by adding a made in-store lemonade, sweet tea, or cola. Simply walking by the restaurant is enough to send your senses on a journey. Watch out though, as the River Market closes at 7pm on Fridays.
If you prefer something plant-based, drop by Amaranthus, which happens to be right next to Re-up, talk about opposites attracting. Blueberry barbeque sauce, roasted vegetable, and a pervasive sweetness make Amaranthus a place worth raving about. Amaranthus boasts a beautiful interior with a perfect ambiance. They have a huge menu of delicious plant-based food, with plant-based alternatives and plenty of unique menu features.
Columbia Street Sandwich Co is a place beloved by all BIA staff members and true New Westers. Their gorgeous new parklet somehow makes their sandwiches seem even better. They are going all out for this week’s Quest by staying open till 8pm just for you! They are also offering some amazing picnic packs exclusively for this week’s Quest. You can grab combos for one, two, or a charcuterie pack all for specially reduced prices. Warning: if you'd like to enjoy one of these packs you have to pre-order by Friday at noon (they've extended it!) at www.csscorder.com. These packs are delicious!
Piva Modern Italian is a high-class restaurant that serves some serious portions. Whether you’re in the mood for incredible pasta or some fancier protein options, Piva can provide. Located in the beautiful Anvil Centre with an incredible patio, Piva is a dream location on a sunny summer day. Make Quest night date night with a helping hand from Piva.
Fridays #QuestNewWest is the best way to spend your Friday night but these restaurants will take your experience to the next level. Being able to eat some of New West’s finest on the beach, in the sun, or while laying back on some grass after completing challenges is a pretty sweet reward.
