What to expect at Fridays on Front

Fridays on Front is a symbol of revitalization in Downtown New West. Once a derelict back alley underneath a parkade, Front Street is now a cozy spot for people to hang out.

Every Friday evening until August 23rd, expect to find food, drinks, music, artisans, and great people in this space.

For those looking to expand their culinary horizons, event goers can look forward to trying some of the best eats. Look for new trucks on the scene such as Boca’o, the Frying Pan, Salty’s Lobster Shack, and Shameless Buns serving up delicious eats and mouth-watering treats, or chow down on old favourites such as Rolling Cashew, Beljam’s Waffles, Brazillian roots or Japadog. 

Fridays on Front is an open air, fully-licensed event. How often do you get to walk down a street in a historic district with a beer or wine in hand? New West's favourite Steel & Oak will be providing fresh brews, along with a different guest brewery each week, including the award-winning Field House and Strange Fellows. Meanwhile, Pacific Breeze Urban Winery will be serving glasses of red and white all night. Take a look at our event highlights each week to see who's coming!

Downtown New West has a vibrant arts scene, with a healthy supply of concerts, art galleries, and artisan vendors. This scene comes together for Fridays on Front, where there will be bands playing diverse genres and styles every week.
