This is a series of magical summer craft fairs. The Faire will be an extension of what we carry and do at The Wylde Wood Collective. They will be family friendly, fun, and festive! Come in costume! Peruse our wares! Shop for unusual, quality, and handcrafted items! Parade the boardwalk with us! Grab some gelato and enjoy New West Craft outside as well! Two fairs in one location!

A great way to work up an appetite before you dive into our food hall for some delicious breakfast.
$5/class.

CarnaWest is a festival aimed at promoting the rich heritage of Brazil. A feast of rhythm, dance, food, sports, arts, Brazilian DJ and a Beer Garden with our famous capirinha. It will be held on Saturday August 4th, from 12 to 8 PM, at Westminster Pier Park, in New Westminster.

The 16th Annual New West Cultural Crawl will take place on August 10 & 11, 2019 at venues across New Westminster. This family-friendly event invites audience of young and old to explore the city in their own pace, and check out artworks by professional and emerging artists who reside in the city.
The Crawl is an annual arts & culture festival that celebrates and exhibits the vast creative talents across New Westminster. Artist studios and venues open their doors for two days to welcome thousands of visitors from across Metro Vancouver.
Now in its 16 year, the New West Cultural Crawl brings together members of the community to participate in a free two-day arts & cultural festival showcasing New West’s creative talent. The Crawl has evolved from an one-day “art walk” in 2003 with 8 venues, handful of artists, and less than 400 visitors; to showcasing over 150 artists, with 4000 visitors, at 32 venues across New Westminster in 2018.

In celebration of its 75th anniversary, 980 CKNW is having a full-day celebration at Anvil Centre on Thursday, Aug. 15 from 6:30 a.m. to 6 p.m. CKNW hosts Jon McComb (5:30 to 10 a.m.), Simi Sara (10 a.m. to 2 p.m.) and Lynda Steele (2 to 6 p.m.) will be broadcasting live on-site throughout the day.
The free, family-friendly event allows guests to drop by Anvil Centre at any point in the day for entertainment, food sampling, and meet-and-greet sessions with former and current hosts of CKNW. Global BC will also be on-site with community reporter Michael Newman and meteorologist Kristi Gordon, who will be doing live hits from the celebration throughout the day.
