The Story Behind Wellskin: More Than Skin-Deep

Wellskin’s story began far from the banks of the Fraser River, in the country of Belarus, in Europe, where Alena and Konstantine first dreamed of helping others feel confident in their skin.
After years of advanced training and hands-on experience in Canada, they noticed a gap in the industry: too many people were receiving one-size-fits-all treatments that overlooked the unique needs of individual skin. That realization sparked the birth of Wellskin, a clinic where personalized skincare meets medical-grade precision and is rooted in real results.
“What inspires me every day is witnessing the transformation — not just in skin, but in confidence. Our clients often walk in feeling frustrated or discouraged, and over time, they begin to glow — inside and out. That is the heart of what we do.”
A Clinic Built for Community

Why Downtown New West?
Finding the right space to bring your dream to life is no easy task. Konstantine knew the place needed to be welcoming to reflect his vision for Wellskin. The first option that came to mind to start his search was Vancouver, but according to Konstantine, the limited space of the commercial units was not the perfect match for the experience he wanted to create.
“We believe that luxury skincare isn’t just about the products or machines — it’s also about how a client feels in your space. Cramped quarters just weren’t compatible with that vision.”
Building on Columbia St, where Wellskin is located
After an extensive search, Konstantine & Alena finally found the place they were looking for on Columbia St, in downtown New West. With the help of the property owner and landlord, David Sarraf, they secured the space and were offered a flexible lease plan that gave Wellskin room to grow.
Through the location of their clinic, Konstantine and Alena discovered a neighbourhood with a strong sense of community and the authentic, grounded energy that flows through downtown New West.
“There’s a unique warmth here—from the friendly small business owners who greet each other by name, to the local clients who genuinely value high-quality, personalized service. I often walk along Columbia St. and feel inspired by the historic architecture, the local art, the proximity to the river—there’s a calm yet vibrant rhythm that energizes both me and my team.”
The collaborations fostered through community events, referrals exchanged between business members and the overall support, were also a special touch to Wellskin’s location.
“There’s a true spirit of mutual uplift. It’s not just where we work—it’s where we belong.”
